We love baking but sometimes there just isn’t the time or the will so it’s wonderful that there are so many good Free From alternatives out there. They are also great for those hosting allergic folk, makes life much easier to be able to pick up a pudding from the supermarket.
Here are our favourites:
They do a nice range of puddings. The servings are quite small, but very rich. We love the Little Choc Pots, the caramel ones are way too sweet IMO. Molly really likes the Rice Pudding as well. They are pretty much available in every major supermarket in the country so easy to get.
Freaks do a range of hot puddings with delicious sauces. Just pop in the oven at a low heat and you’ve a lovely gluten, dairy, egg and soya free treat. We love the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the Chocolate puddings. Also available pretty much everywhere, they have a store locator on their website to help you find a local stockist.
Gu
Known for their gloriously rich puddings Gu have now joined the ranks of the free from brigade. And good thing too. Lovely cheesecakes, although we find the Strawberry and Rhubarb too sweet for our taste. The lemon one is great. I find their website a bit, well, unhelpful so I’ve not linked to it.
